~HOW SOME LIVE A STEWARDSHIP WAY OF LIFE~
This weekend at all masses, we will hear parishioners witness to the Stewardship Lifestyle during the homily period. Next weekend will be our annual ministries fair. Our various groups, committees and societies will have displays with representatives present to answer any questions after all masses in the Church Hall. Refreshments will be available, so drop by, visit the displays and ask any questions. Our Stewardship focus concludes February 18th & 19th with our annual commitment weekend where parishioners choose how they will share their unique gifts within the parish. Commitment cards will be distributed at all masses. Stewardship is a Lifestyle that responds to God’s grace in our lives. Offerings of Time, Talent and Treasure given in abundance from a heart of gratitude expresses our appreciation for God’s grace and gifts. May our reflection on Christian Stewardship strengthen our commitment to build God’s Kingdom in this time and place.
~RETURN PALM TO CHURCH~

A free-will offering will be the price of admission.
On Sunday, February 19th the Parish Life Committee will host their mid-winter Potluck Supper beginning at 4:30pm. Bring your favourite recipe to share with fellow parishioners. Both events are opportunities to come together and enjoy one another. Come and be part of the fun.

~PARISH MISSION STATEMENT~
Last weekend we mentioned a parish mission statement is a concise, informative and spiritual statement that expresses the identity, purpose, function and vision for a faith community. When developing a mission statement we might ask these questions: 1) If Jesus were here today what words would he give us to direct our future? 2) Why do you think the universal church exists? 3) What makes Holy Family Parish unique and special? We will begin the process of developing a mission statement with a gathering on February 26th from 4:00 to 6:30pm in the Church Hall. The Knights of Columbus will serve us their famous chilli and from 5:00 to 6:30, we will provide information on mission statements and offer opportunity for input on forming our own mission statement. Your engagement in the process will assist the community to “Move our Faith Forward”. Please RSVP to the Church Office 667-2523 if you can attend by February 19th. This will help determine numbers for the meal and also materials needed for the gathering.
~BAPTISM PREPARATION~

~STEWARDSHIP CORNER~
In today’s Gospel we hear of a great number of suffering people seeking the healing touch of Jesus. He could not respond to them all. But the Gospel also reveals Jesus, after praying in solitude, sensing an urgency to proclaim the Good News of his Father’s redemptive love to those who suffer in the nearby villages and towns. Stewards are called to follow in Jesus’ footsteps, to respond to those who suffer with compassion. How are we responding to the suffering in our world? How are we using our gifts to continue the works of Christ’s redemptive healing?
