~SOD IS TURNED … DIGGING HAS BEGUN~

Last Monday, as was announced, we had the Official Turning of the Sod, the construction site has been fenced off and the heavy machinery started work on Tuesday. Through the work of Pauline Furlong, an excellent article was on the front page of the Amherst Daily News on Tuesday. We are on our way with construction that is expected to take 6 – 8 months. Let us pray that everything goes well.

Click on the thumbnails to see a few photos from the sod turning ceremony.

~A GOOD SUMMER BREAK AND PARISH ACTIVITIES RESUME~

Saturday, October 3rd is the date of our Parish Yard Sale this year. We are now accepting good clean items that would be another person’s treasure (no clothing please) for our yard sale. You can bring donations to the Church Hall during office hours. Please call the Parish Office 667-2523 before dropping off your donations so arrangements can be made to receive these items.

~PARISH QUILT RAFFLE~

You are reminded to return your raffle tickets (in the collection or bring them to the Office). We thank the many families who have already returned their sold tickets. We have been selling tickets on our beautiful quilt at various locations around town. Anyone interested in helping us to sell tickets is asked to call Pauline at 667-2170
